Transform into Love

I know that I’ve been chosen to shift the consciousness, energy, and patterns throughout this universe. I pour a lot into this blog because it is my baby and it allows me to get out all of my feelings because it is not healthy to keep all of those emotions trapped inside. God has given me the green light to break through barriers and to transform all of my mistakes, and traumas, into love.

Dear God, thank you for another day. Thank you for our families, thank you for the subtle blessings. Today Lord I pray that everyone of you will receive 2 things for and during the New Year(2022) , abundance and endurance…Abundance for the things we absolutely need and Endurance to power through all of the obstacles that may come our way. We thank you in advance Lord, In Jesus name we pray…Amen 🙏🏾

Professional blogger

As a kid I dreamed of being an author with a wild imagination who published tons of fictional books! Well, I’m not an author but I’m a part time blogger, I’m not professional, but I inspire to be. You know how it goes, you want to be validated by your family, but they won’t care until you reach stardom, they can care less about the grind, but I digress. I truly believe the stars are aligning for me and to add, I’m manifesting my dreams to the universe, I want to see a shift before my 50th birthday and that is less than 5 months away! I just want to be financially abundant, I want to be financially independent of the rat race of a 9 to 5. Does anyone out there feel the same? What are your dreams and aspirations?

What a beautiful day

What a beautiful day! I can never get use to or take for granted that God allowed me to see another day on this earth. I’m so grateful that one of my hens supplied me with this beautiful gift…have a great remainder of your day and thank you for your support.

Mental Health

We need to invest heavily into mental health for our people. The time to heal is right now. If you know of any black therapists, please share in the comments!

Building the mindset of a special needs child.

Im always thinking of ways to serve, this is a topic I hold near and dear to my heart because I lived it. I can say without hesitation that I was a special needs child. For those who are new to my blog, I was born with a cleft lip and palate and was very tiny. Fast forward to my school years, I was bullied, laughed at because the way I looked and talked but I didn’t let that bring me down. I had the mindset of a lion, I wouldn’t give up, I was on a mission. During my school tenure in the 80s I don’t think the educational system knew how to help a special needs kid as myself. I was a extra shy kid so some of the educators took that as having a learning disability. Don’t get me wrong I had certain issues but it wasn’t extreme as some tried to make it. The common thread to my fearless mindset is my family, it really did take a village to positively navigate me through the ups and downs of my childhood. I was lucky to have my great grandparents, and grandparents to pour unconditional love into me and to teach me how to remain calm in certain situations, their life lesson were priceless. My parents were in their early 20s when I was born, I can only imagine the pain they endured taking me to the hospital for multiple surgeries or the many trips to the speech therapist, or the many notes sent home by my teachers explaining my difficulties with certain lessons. Thank God the world has evolved since my school days, there is more data out there to help special needs children plus parents can home school their child as well. As a parent you need to know that you are not alone in this journey, I’ve made it through, things got better as I grew older and my confidence grew. I graduated high school and I’ve been in the workforce for 30 consecutive years! I’m a living witness that it can be done! Thanks for taking the time to read my blog, I really do appreciate you all.

Words of encouragement

Today I want to share a little bit of my life and I hope it inspires you to be great.

I was born with a birth defect and I weighted 3 pounds and 7 oz.

I went through countless surgeries and rehab until I was 14.

I was bullied in elementary and high school.

I never let the negativity take over my positive outlook on life.

I always dig deeper when faced with adversity.

If someone said something bad and hurtful about me, I would turn around and speak great things about myself when I was alone.

I started at my current job site 14 years ago ranked as a Officer (Security)

I’m now ranked as a Major (Site Commander) responsible for a large golf community.

If I can do it, so can you.

But, you have to believe in yourself, you can’t seek validation from others.

And you have to find that courage deep inside to be great at what you do.

I give God all of the glory!

I hope I wasn’t rambling on too much and again, thanks for reading my blog, I really appreciate you!
